Friends

Freinds here help you becoem a better mylotter - in simple terms. As you continue here you discussions are mostly responded by your friends and less by people who are not your friends. Do you notice a section called " Discussions started by your Freinds " you see the discussions, created by your friends there. Similarly your friends will see your discussions. Everytime you discussions gets a responses more the propability of your freiends noticing your discussion. I can tell you how I got this discussions. See the first few responses you get may be from people who are not your frineds. It is because I get to notice your discussion from " Discussions with no responses ". See after that it will mostly be your friends who respond to your disucussion from the discussions your friends have started section. So more the number of friends more will you succeed. I have around 300 friends and on an average I get 30 responses foreach discussion. i have seen people with 2000 friends so they get 150 responses. So this is the evidence that friends are diectly proportional to your succeess. Never reject any request, make as many friends as possible. The best way to get more friends is to add all people those who respond to your discussion as friends. Good Luck !! Happy Mylotting !!!

you ask people to be your friend on here in the hope that they will see your discussion and respond to it for you. when someone is on your friends list you can get an email when they start a new discussion so you can respond. although i've found that most of my discussions are answered by everyone but my friends :( i have some that answer though.

When you get friends here on mylot you have someone that has common interests as you. When you start a discussion, they can be notified and then they can reply to all your discussions and you to theirs. It helps for you to get activity on your discussions. Also, you get to know some of your friends which is a bonus.

me, i invite people to be my friend when i read from their profile that we share the same interests. if i could learn a lot from their discussion, its easier to respond to their discussion if they are in your friends list, or you'll be notify for new discussion your friends started
