Dear dbhattji, Do you know I came to know that Taj Mahal was not constructed by Mughal king in memory of his wife Mumdas. It was originally a Shiva Temple by the name Tajo Mahal. During Mughal period, not a single building was carrying any name by "MAHAL" except Taj Mahal. According to certain people Old Shiva Lingam and other daily puja rituals materials are still kept in a room, the door of that room is walled and cemented so that nobody can enter it. Outside conference hall of Taj Mahal is shaped and constructed just like vedic period hall. There is Lotus which has OM in it. There are various other proofs exit. I will forward to you a detailed report if you give me your email ID. Therefore I have my own reservation about voting it.

I voted by SMS. Glad that it is in the top 7 final list. Wonder how genuine the poll was though!

Obviously, I have voted for TajMahal. Today after few hours the result will be declared for the new 7 wonders of world.

yes i have posted my vote and i have encouraged my friends to vote for tajmahal, i think every indian must vote for it, so that taj mahal gets the position in the top seven wonders of the world, so plz all of you vote for our taj.
