OK I will own up, since having my kids I cry, I cry at all kinds of things. going the movies is no longer an option. I can not run the risk of crying in public.
I don't know if it is a chemical balance or something but my word do I have trouble holding back the tears. before my kids I use to laugh at the though of crying... I am a man and men don't cry.
so am I big softy or are there other guys out there like me. and if so what sets you off.

I can tell you that my husband crys alot more since we have had our sons. I think it has more to do with now he feels like he has so much to lose and how easy it could all go away. Like when one of the boys gets hurt I have seen him choke up. I think that it is normal for all people to cry whether you are male or female.

You need that caring, soft side to be able to nurtoure your kids. When they accomplish something special, you need to be able to express a feeling of proudness. I too consider myself a Manly Man. Having kids, developing a better relationship with my dad, and increasing my faith have all added to the overwhelming feelings that causes tears to shed. Obviously the man who made that statement doesn't have kids right??

I have cried at movies before and other times, and I do not feel anyless of a man, in fact i feel more like a man knowing that I am able to feel no shame when doing so, it takes a real man to show such courage.
