what's your purpose to add friend?

I add them to provide me more quick access on good discussions they make, to help me nelighten on some of my questions. To learn from them, to which also shares the same interest with me. I also delete some, those that I know doesn't provide me good discussions and some are inactive also..

Adding a friend cos I find the topics and discussion they posted interesting. And would like to find out more of their discussions, current and future to participate in. When one get to respond to other myloter's postings and discussions, one will naturally get noticed over time. So yes, the more discussions other people have, the more I participate. The more I participate, the more people will participate in mine. Getting to know more friends is the purpose of being in mylot, ain't it? Friends are added selectively.

I don't add friends anymore.I ask friend request from few members at the first 1-2 months that I was at mylot.After I did only few little times. I add friends after I response to some of them discussions and I find we have same interests.I don't want add friends and after I can't response to them. My mistake is I accept all the friend request.I thought that if they add me they find something common with me......wrong!!! So I think you did the best,time to time we must clean our friend list.I delete very little until now even if I need to do for more .What is the reason you keep people if you haven't anything to say with them?
