What do you think of the new Vista's that are out?

I bought a new windows vista home premium and am not very impressed with it. I've only had it for a couple of weeks and it has already had issues where it freezes on load up. Today I came home and turned it on and "BAM!!!!" Start up issues, this time it had to repair the issue which took over 30 minutes. I believe I'm fixing to call Gateway and have them send me the XP Pro disk instead.
As hard as I try to be objective about this version, it has managed to change my opinion about it very quickly. This version reminds me of Windows Millenium. Both are worthless.

this is about what to expect from this microsoft..put out a product that don't work..
thanks for the info..i will stay with windows xp..

Before I ever decided to purchase vista I had already made my mind up to buy xp pro, I let a friend talk me into buying vista, fortunately I can still purchase the xp disk from gateway and get rid of the operating system I currently have.

Other than the fact that xp has sooo many patches, xp is way more stable than vista.
