One of the hottesr 3 point shooters Ray Allen is going to the Boston Celtics. I wonder how him and Paul Pierce going to team up together. I think Pierce is a dominat SF out there. With him and ray team up they will be a nice combo. I just hope the rest of the team can respond to Ray.

Yeah Ray Allen is a great player and he has been contributing already since being a member of the Celtics. Paul Pierce is his usual self contributing where he does and the two have combined to be a potent force. With Kevin Garnett with them as well, the Celtics are even that much better.

Being a Milwaukee Bucks fan, I watched Ray Allen play ball for many years. I loved having him on my team and thought he was the best shooter in the league. That being said, his defense is not all that great (and that's being nice), he doesn't create his own shot, and he's more of a jump shooter than a penetrator so he doesn't get to the foul line that often. While Pierce is a very good player, he wants out of Boston in a big way and you have to wonder how hard he's going to play for a team he wants off of. Allen will have success if Al Jefferson can command a double team which will leave Allen open for the three. Either way, I think Boston will have trouble this year. They may make the playoffs but in the pathetic eastern conference that isn't saying much.
