Well I thinkjust live your life, maybe a relationship doesn't start in a good ground, but it doesn't mean the course wouldn't change. Even though you think your partner is only for your posessions, give him or her the bennefit of doubt and show them what you're truley made of.

This comes down to a matter of trust. If you suspect your loved one is this way it is highly unlikely you can ever be happy with them. The fear of them leaving, the fear that they are just using you, not being sure of them is not something that makes anyone happy. If you have this fear there probably is something to it. Whatever you do find out well before they do leave along with what ever they came for. And if you have this fear never ever marry until you know without a doubt it is not true.
