if a random check came to your house

Keep it. Cash it. and leave it for a while before I woudl spend. it. So send that check my way

i would've cashed it but not spend it immediatly...if the owner came and talked to me then i would give it back only after 30 days though

I have had this happen to me before. Although it wasn't for that amount of money but I did have a check sitting in an envelope with my name on it and no return address. You can tell who the check is from because it is written on the check but I did cash it. If I didn't know the person I would contact my church to see if that person was a member of the church and if not I would try to contact them to see what the deal was before cashing it. I would also open another bank account and put it in there so it wasn't attached to my account and when I was sure it was ok to use I would use it.:)

I'd surely cash it! Well, let's think... It came on my name, right? No misspeling... My name was perfectly writing... Then, it was someone trying to make me a surprise! Come on, or some crazy guy trying to spend money! Of course I'd cash it out and use the money... What would you do?

I don't think I would catch it I would just send it back. I'll be too scare of something happening to me or my bank account if I did cash it.
