I've seen and heard that there have been quite a few accidents on different amusement park rides. My boys have been asking to go to great adventure and I'm not sure I want them to go now. I used to love going there and riding all of the rollercoasters and I want my sons to have the same experiences, but I'm really scared after everything I've heard lately. So I'm asking the opinions of all mylotters. I don't want them to be scared to try new things but I don't want them to get hurt either. Should we go and risk it or not?

I won't risk my children's well being for anything. That's just my opinion. After that 13 year old girl lost both of her legs last week on a ride, forget it. It's just not worth it to me. There are so many other safer things for kids to do anyway, so it's not a loss to them.

I totally agree. My son wants to go to six flags (which I have told him repeatedly no) and we are suppose to be taking a vacation to Orlando Florida next month so we have decided to skip Disneyworld altogether and just visit Seaworld. You just never know with all these accidents happening lately.
