Speaking from pure experience... That uphoria of love tends to cloud a persons judgement and even cause us to overlook some things that we ordinarily wouldn't. There is way more to a marriage than just love. A marriage is based on friendship, trust and understanding of each other. It takes time to build that part of a good solid relationship. Besides, taking the time to get to know each other inside and out is the best part.
I guess what I'm trying to say is... True/deep love grows with time, There is so much more to a marriage than just love. Give the relationship at least a year or so to delvelope into that next step. If you take the time to deepen the relationship before you get married... you will have a meaningful and successful marriage.

you know, i think that counting the months or years before marrying a person is practical.
i think what matters most is when the two of you are in love with each other. whether you just known each other for 1 month. what matters most is love, and friendship too (of course) and compatibility (i think). because i think the key to a successful relationship aside from love is compatibility, friendship and communication.

When you find the right person you will just know. I don't think the amount of time that you are together is what is important what is important is that you are right for each other.
