I think it depend on them. You can date a person for 10 yrs, and then get married but get divorce 6 months later. As long as they realize what marriage is and ready to work on it ( o, yeah marriage need a lot of work especially when finally get children too ) that's fine.

Anything can happen. It is possible that it could work, it is also possible that it won't work. It is a 50/50 thing just like any marriage. Hopefully it works out for the best for them. That is all I can say.

not much detail was provided but i am always positive so i would say that i think it will last. it really does not depend on how long you have known someone. it depends on the couple and how much they are willing to do to make their marriage last. making a marriage work demands true effort from both parties. i wish them the best
