When I was pregnant, I ate lots of seafood. And I just had vomit once. The doctor said if you were lack of any elements, then probably you will have morning sickness. And the seafood is full of different nutritions. So maybe this is why I didn't have a morning sickness.

Ginger can be helpful for morning sickness- fresh or even ginger ale.
Morning sickness is sometimes caused by low blood sugar, which is why it's more common in the AM for most women but can happen anytime of the day. She may want to keep a light snack on her bed table and if she wakes up to use the restroom in the middle of the night, she can have a little snack. During the day she may want to consider 5-7 small meals instead of 3 big meals.
