Orkut goin to be banned in India???

Recently i happened to read in a magazine that orkut is goin to be banned in India for some reason....do you guys think that orkut should be banned (in any country)?
I am a daily visitor of orkut and i personally think it should not be banned cause most of my school friends are there in orkut, who are now in different places. and oh if any one is interested in adding me as a friend in orkut please refer to the below link (pls replace 'aaa' with 'www'):

I don't do orkutting and I only do mylotting so I don't like orkut .. and I only love mylot .. We don't get anything by doing orkutting but we earn here on mylot by doing mylotting .. but the thing is money is not my only motive to be on mylot .. I have good quality friends over here .. also I am not at all comfortable with orkut system but I learned mylot within two days .. I understood the whole procedure just by reading the quality posts made by my quality friends .. whenever I need help -- there were so many friends to help me on mylot .. their suggestions and their advice is simply full of qualityness .. there are simply so many things to love mylot .. I won't mind if orkut will get banned in India .. but yes I feel sad for you as you love orkut a lot

I dont like orkut that much :-D its just that if orkut is banned i cannot be in touch with my friends

I too believe that orkut should not be banned. I also have my friends over there and that has been the best source of our talks after so long time. That has made us stay in touch. Its a wonderful site I may say.
The only problem with orkut is some vulgar communities and some communities trying to hurt a particular person, group of people, country or a religion. If orkut could take care of all that, the site can become the best one.
Still, I would say, its not orkut that is a problem if we say it specifically for India, its the mentality of people joining the community. I think there may be many more such sites to be banned then.
Putting a ban on orkut would not help India grow or take rid of vulgarity that is rising in India exponentailly.

Isn't it true that Orkut is a place where terrorists have been communicting and recruiting? While in believe in frredom of speech, that freedom stops when it becomes militant extremists recruiting members. If Orkut is allowing this to happen, then perhaps it should be taken down.
