I was planning to let my 7mos old daughter to have her first earpierce, its just that I have second thoughts.I think its too early for her although I've seen so many younger babies with earings. What do you think?

Umm 7 months, wow I think that is way too young but that's just me. I would get it done when she is able to understand what they are and be able to handle the pain.

Hi, my daughter was 0ne when she got her ears pierced for her birthday. I think it's up to the individual, just be aware that you will need to look after them properly to avoid infection. My daughter has had no problems, and she'll be 8 tomorrow.

Its quite common with kids wearing earrings. Since ur baby is a girl, she is bound to strt wearing earpieces at sm point of her life, so why nt now? Its never too early... So just go ahead, and give her that beautiful earring as a present. Dn't let her feel left out in the crowd.

everyone will have a different thought about it. i want to get my daughters some time soon, and shes just 6 months. i would have done it earlier if i could have. i just need to find a place that im OK with, that will do it.
do what YOU want with her. dont let other peoples children or thoughts alter what you want

Actually, if i can only turn back the hands of time, i should have not pierced my ears. BEcuse now that i am already teaching and ear piercing is not allowed in our school, i can't help but give reasons to my students why my ears are pierced. But since it's there i just let it go but i don't wear earrings.

Very young babies have their ears pierced, so I don't think there's any sort of safety issue. Just make sure you go to a reputable place and take good aftercare of the piercings and she'll be fine.

They will heal much quicker than if you wait until the baby is a toddler. Toddlers will touch their ears heightening the chance of infection, while infants will only focus on the pain as it's happening (and if infections occur, which is why it's imperative that you keep the ears, earrings and new holes very clean).

In fact, I think it's quite a bit late. Better late than never though. She will feel a bit hurt, yet it really worth the effort.
