Define the word..Forum and Thread...What is the difference?

A thread is a topic, so you could say that this (what you posted) is a thread. A forum is made of different subjects, which are made up of numerous threads. You could say that a forum is a place to discuss things, and threads are the discussions. That is what I think they are, fairly sure I'm right (or right-ish) on this one...
