Help please...Rheumatoid arthritis

hi everyone I have a very close friend in the USA who suffers from very severe rheumatoid arthritis and has since she was a child, she isnt able to work but has been refused disability despite her obvious need for it. So she doesnt have alot of money and isnt able to afford treatment for her disease so mostly she takes pain medication to get through the day I would really like to help her in some way I dont make alot of money either so i cannot help financially so I am wondering what services would be available to help her or if there are any people out there who have had success with any type of treatment so I can help her out of her pain and depression.. thanks alot for taking the time to read this
