That's cool. My cockatoo Shasta talks too! She says somethings I wish she wouldn't though - LOL. You just never know what they are gonna pick up on eh!

I know what you mean. My bird Shasta is out of her cage for part of everyday. She gets down on the floor, walks down the hall to come and find me. She's a regular part of the family, will play (try to annoy) the dogs, cuddle with my son under a blanket to watch t.v., sit with me while I'm typing on mylot, she pretty much gets run of the house when she's out of her cage.

No I don't but I have always wanted one. They are fascinating birds. I feel in love with a Parrot in a pet store once but god it was expensive.
I wonder if I could teach one the star spangled banner.lol

we have an african grey parrot. thats one smart fella. he never gets tired of embarassing us. he hates it when we have guests so five minutes after theyve sat down he'll say okay bye now. apart from that hes always telling people to shut up and repeating things at the worst time possible. he has a good vocabulary. african greys are amongst the smartest parrots and he'll probably outlive us too.
