Why no other community portal is not as success as ORKUT??

I don't know exactly....Orkut...i think it became the last word for friendship nowadays...orkut orkut orkut...it is coming to more popular...I am using orkut as my social site...No other site is this much cool and funny..I heard that orkut is banning in many countries... Thanks for the discussion....

i think that would be because of the simplicity and easeness of use of orkut and also its effectivenes

In my opinion, it's because of the Publicity and the Public Target. Once Orkut was launched, it came to Brazil: Brazil didn't have any Community such as Orkut! Specially made for Brazilians, it certainly was a new thing! Soon, people started joining and inviting their friends... Orkut turned into a fever, and nowadays, almost all brazilians have it. People who doesn't use Orkut are, sometimes, excluded. Orkut is almost an obligation, even for those who can't use Internet. MyLot isn't as famous as Orkut because it doesn't have too much Publicity. None of my friends had ever heard about this great Community... After all, everything is in English! If MyLot created Portuguese versions, there would be way more people joining it.

I think Orkut's success goes is totally due to its simplicity and user friendliness. it is simple, easy to use and everything is so self explanatory. Also it was born before everything else...though a few were before Orkut...But it just brought about a craze among people and so many people around the world are in Orkut...

Why Orkut is too success? I don't know... i hate Orkut. Orkut sucks.
