all the shops and good stores are closed and a lot of the restaurants are too..even the YMCA and the Library is closed. Have not had my coffee this moring..but I will forget breakfast and got straight to lunch... Holidays are not so nice when you are not working. Everyday is a holiday when you can stay home and get paid for it..so the holiday is losing its flavor with me..just another day to me... Some people like to go to the park and eat food cooked over the grill..that is OK..but I like Pizza and Fried Chicken from KFC better...I can speak any language in the world but GREEK and it is all GREEK to me..lol..but I have been to a lot of Greek Restaurants in GREEK TOWN in Detroit, Michigan..they like to set stuff on fire and break dishes..but it is fun..The Greeks were the first of the civilized world? Right...of course right

Thanks my friend for this holiday greeting. It is great to speak with you briefly before I shut the computer down for the day. I am glad you were near the top of my inbox. Life is great here, even as we complain, and protest, at least we are free to do so. We may complain about prices, but at least we have commodities to buy. That was really sweet of you yanji. I did my celebrating last night. we had a picnic at the lake and then watched some fireworks. there are more tonight but I don't think we will go. There is a good chance of thunderstorms today. I guess you could say that its natures own fireworks.lol.
