Have you experienced accidentally bit your tongue?

My son is always complaining he always bite his tongue accidentally and just in turn be an ulcer - the white spots which hurts you when something has touched it, oh whoa!, i have experienced that too, i am to speak then i just bit my tongue!?, i don't know how, is it reflexes? but not so often..my son really does experience it and biting his tongue unitentionally or accidentally - and sometime it bleeds,
*and also my son has this manirism of just "eating his tongue", like bubblegum, the side part of the tongue and just biting it doesn't hurt just like eating(try it^^),
but the "bite thing" - it is really an accident or the reason is still not known.

SO, i therfore conclude that it is not only my son who really does it, hehe, i don't know if it is bad but last time when he showed the portion of the tongue it is a bit clean and the teeth marks was there - clean since he always bites it, i just don't know why he bites it - good feeling though
but back to the "bite thing" the real unexpected(that is the word i am looking for - unexpected", i think it is just the mouth who orders the jaws and the teeth to bite the tongue, and when it happens yeah my son really is surprised cause it really hurts - according to him, yeah of course since it is really unexpected and since it is no control so it is a hard bite, whoa!!, it hurts really - i experienced it..whoo, thanks..

oh, really, so it is like when you have this short time cough, or when you cough even you don't have cough, oh, that's nice in that way but physically, no, ^^, thanks..!!^^

in chilhood days it used to happen,but now very less...it is accidental cant be there any reason or it.
biting tongue is experienced by everyone and a different feeling of biting too...
instead of eating food,sometimes awe try to eat our tongue.lol!

It often occours to me also. When I accidently bite my tongue it really hurts. Anyway cuts in the tongue or any part of the mouth will get cured in a short time. However the habbit of intensionally eating his toungue cannot be supported. It could be really dangerous. Constant or regular biting may cause some mutations to the cell and cause undesired growth of cells there. Advice and train him to stop the habbit. also try to get some advice from an EMT specialist also.
