it is said that love is a symbol of peace,happiness,joy etc then why do do some people who are in deep love end up killing there dear ones.?

Since they are not true lovers and they love each other by appearance and also with the effect of some movies so such things are hapenning in the world. True love means not killing each other but sacrifising there life for there love. So it is not dependent on the love but dependent on the person who takes the love in which way.

Killing is not loving... it is not what love is all about. It is not what love does to the lover!
When the person goes extreme in "loving" it is no longer love of the other person but love of self, I mean selfishness or being greedy! Or shall I say that it becomes an obsession that makes the person abnormal or mentally unstable.
Love brings peace, joy, and true happiness. It means that love teaches the lover to give unconditionally and learning to let go even if it costs a lot of pains and heartaches.
