Baby Ants have invaded my house .EEKK I discovered ants in my downstairs bedroom the other day.I sprayed them. Then I found them in my sewing room. Of course the worse bunch were in my computer room . Guess they discoverd a good bunch of food crumbs every where. I wiped down and spayed the areas .Then yesterday while I my computer was in the shop the ants came back . This time they were back on the desk and they had invaded my keyboard. How do you clean ants from a keyboard ? Liquid spray is kind of hard on keyboards as any is any liquid. I remembered my Mom telling my sister about using Pepper. I decided to check it in out on Google. And yes it works. The website has a list of a whole bunch of other things that deter ants . Most of these are environmentally safte. You can check them all out by going to http://www.thefrugallife.com/ants.html

For real? Did you use pepper? Did it actually work? I talked to you the other night and you were really wanting to get rid of those pesty critters. Do let me know how it worked? I will be looking back for your answer!

Well between the wipes that i sprayed with ant spay and the pepper I put on my desk and keyboard the ants seem to be gone. For now atleast . I may have to re apply it in a day or so .

spray they little suckers with no stick cooking spray that kills them better than the bug sprays. Ants love crawling inside of computer! so get them off the desk fast. vaccum them from the keyboard. keeping the desk wiped down with something like those bleach wipes help kill the sent of the track the ants leave for each other. if the leggs of the desk is metal put the no stick old spray all the way around the leggs of the desk it will kill them and they will not be able to climb up the desk unless they are getting on the desk using the wired going to the plug in but you can also as a little spray on those. put it on a q tip and put it on the wire that way. You dont want to be spraying the stuff around the computer to much

We have millions of ants and nothing I have tried will get rid of them for good soon as you kill one ant hill full you get another one. My house is full of them in every room and they aren't afraid of anything it seems because they will crawl right out on you. Drives me nuts I put out poison for them they ate it up but it didn't seem to get rid of them seemed that many more would just come out. I will try the pepper which I haven't tried yet. Wish me luck I will need it. They are taking over my computer room and I am afraid they will take over my computer tower for their new home.. So here goes..pepper everywhere.. made me sneeze 5 times in a roll..lol and the ants are scattering but will they be back I don't know will check it out tomorrow if it works I am going to scatter pepper along all the base boards of my house then I will be ant free..can't wait.

There are some pretty good ideas on that site. We too have been invaded by what my Grandmother called p!ssants. They are so annoying. We have them in our kitchen, bathrooms, and in the computer room too. Now to figure out which one of the ideas I will be trying to rid our home of these nasty little beasts.

Thank you for sharing this with us. Isn't it great to be able to find stuff like that on the internet.
I like the frugal and environmentally safe things.

Ants Ants I hope they are not in your pants? Hello again; I was wondering if the ants came back? Did the pepper keep them away? If so this is something I will indeed have to try!
PS. our promised date; its Tuesday!
