I like to remember Micah 6:8 "He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God". and. . . the Greatest Commandment is in Matthew 22:37 - "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself."

You are right in quoting that scripture. Believe that Jesus is the Son of God and also what He has done on the cross. What does God expect from you? To get to know Him. When you get to know God more, your relationship with Him grows, just like with a friend. The more you know someone, the stronger you relationship grows. Thats all that is needed, relationship with God. How do you accomplish that? Through studying the Bible and through prayer. Believe like a child the things that you read, the Bible says that the foolishness of the world is wisdom by God. In other words, some things you read may at first sound foolish, but once you understand it in God's context, it becomes wisdom which the world do not understand. Spend time in prayer. It is not always easy beacuse you do not know what or how to pray. Speak to God as a young child would speak to his dad. Tell God everything, He knows it anyway. By telling God everything, your trust in Him grows and so does your relationship. God is all about love. Relationship is all about love. Just enjoy your relationship with God and I'll see you in heaven Blessings.

what you are saying is good, I think you must accept Jesus as your savoir and wanting to fight against your sins. I do not know the place in the bible but somewhere is written that you must love your enemies like yourself. One thing is that we can not say if you are going to Heaven, that is upto God.
