Help Me Out Here, Stop The Hurling!

Canada

I don't feel good, not at all, I can't stop hurling, and i want it to just stop, or just go away or disappear, whatever, i don't care, i just want it gone! I don't take gravel, i don't take any doctor prescribed medications, and i'm really ill here, so if you can please just tell me any herbal remedies or anything that would help get rid of this nausea, i would be forever in debt to you and do almost anything you ask of me. :D Thanks...

I'm sorry but this has certainly lost something in the translation between North American English and U.K. English, Hurling over here, especially in Ireland is a game similar to football see http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/A5403953 so if you really are pregnant then you should really restrict yourself and stop hurling as soon as possible. Watching some one else hurling should be all right as long as you don't get too excited over it.

I had worked that out, but couldn't resist putting our definition in.

hahaha omg, okay hun, thanks for the laugh and a half, i very much needed it. Actually Hurling here probly means that too, but mostly it's a nicer way to say puked, threw up, emptied the contents of your stomach all over hells acres... stuff like that... haha but i'll uh not hurl anything like football.

Ginger root is a natural tummy soother. That is why Ginger Ale was what one would drink when one had an upset tummy. But then they no longer put real ginger in Ginger Ale. How about sending your hubby to the store for some ginger root pills. The outside shell is just sugar and when it melts, it will coat your belly. Hope you feel well soon!!!

Probably by the time you read this post, it will all be over as it sounds like a stomach bug. Chamomile tea, ginger tea or ginger ale, seven-up or flat coke usually keep the nausea at bay, but really the best thing is to just sleep as much as possible, as the sleep is very important to help the body fight the virus.
