I don't sleep walk or talk but I do remember once when I was 7 or 8 I was having a dream about skydiving. So what did I do? I jumped off the top or my bunk bed and stacked it on my bedroom floor. My mother came rushing in and asked me what happened. "I thought I was jumping out of a plane I said". It was hilarious. My fiance talks in his sleep. He says stupid things like "Where's the pizza".

It will not surprise my friends on Mylot to discover that I never stop talking, so being asleep makes no difference lol. Also not surprising is that I make even less sense asleep than awake, so I am doubly annoying in that I can talk all night, have a good rest and irritate the life out of my partner who STILL tries to make sense out of my nocturnal ramblings lol.

I don't do either. My wife talks in her sleep though and my daughter inherited that trait from her.

One of my daughters sleep walks occasionally. Once, when she was about 6 years old, she came out of her bedroom late one night. She walked into the corner of the sitting room, dropped her pants, squatted and proceeded to wee on the floor.
When she finished weeing, she pulled her pants back up and went back into her bedroom. Her father and I where speechless, mainly because we where laughing ourselves silly.
Her eyes remained half open, half closed and she mumbled 'ok' when I asked her, trying to keep a straight face, if she was alright?
She obviously thought that she was in the bathroom and not in the corner of the sitting room, on public display. My brother-in-law and a family friend where there at the time too and they found it as highly amusing as I did.
She has no recall of the event, but gets lovingly teased at every opportunity. As reliably embarrassing parents, we've told most of her friends and that includes boyfriends. It's not something that she's ever going to live down. I'm going to make sure that, when she has children of her own in the future, that they get to hear about what their silly mummy did at their age.
I'm sure that you'll agree that our kids can be an enormous source of embarrassment. So it's nice to be able to get even for once :)

I don't know for sure but I think that I sleep talk. When I was a teenager I woke up in the middle of the night to my mother in my face. She had heard talking coming from the basement (where my bedroom was located) and came down to check it out. She was in my face because she has terrible eyesight and didn't have her glasses on. Evidently I was having a conversation in my sleep! I know that my son talks in his sleep.

I have never had this problem. But my husband has talked in his sleep before. I am used to it now but at first he would scare the crap out of me because I would think he was awake and talking to me. Now I realize he is asleep and just talking in his sleep.

My husband says I talk in my sleep. When I was younger like around 10 year old my mom would find me walking in my sleep and going into the closets. So she would have to take back to bed but I dont remember any of it. I think its pretty funnyLOL

I did a dangerous thing in my sleep as a child.
I have no idea what I was dreaming about but I unscrewed the switch to my bedside lamp.
All I remember was waking up to 240v mains voltage going through my fingers and shaking about on the bed.
One spasm must have been extra violent as I fell out of bed and pulled the wires away from my fingers. When I looked at them there were two black burn marks and a nasty smell of burning flesh.
My parents came in to find out what the ruckus was and found me on the floor!

haha.. yah that's really funny..
I often talk when i sleep.. and what i'm usually saying was the the exact thing happened on a day..
my mom memorizes all the lines that i've said so when i woke up she'll tell it to me..
and just like you when i was a kid, my brother saw me walking while sleeping and he said i opened our closet and i sat on the floor and start my pee.. and then he said, hey what do you think youre doing and i just realize.. ooshh.. i just get pee..

Ah, I'm not very exciting when I'm asleep. Lol. I don't sleepwalk nor sleeptalk, but there was once when I was about 8 or 9, my nanny told me that I was doing math calculations while I was asleep. It was weird! She heard me saying something like "Nine plus eight equals...". Hahaha! I never did like math. That was weird.
Have you heard of sleepwriting though? Back in high school, I really really had trouble with math. It was exam week, and I was solving stuff from my workbook for review. We had our Chinese Literature exam the previous day. So I was lying on my stomach on my bed and was solving away. It was really really late and I was very very sleepy. When I woke up, I saw that I had written stuff from my Chinese Lit on my computations. It was like, x + 2x = 42. x = (squiggly lines) and then it turned to Chinese characters. It was really really funny and weird!

I don't sleepwalk too, but I am like you. when I was a kid I dreamt that I wanted to pee, so I walked to find the toilet. I walked in my sleep and actually landed in the room next door and peed there! It's so funny to remember. We all laughed with the whole family member.

It runs in our family, this sleeptalking thing. It is sometimes funny listening to a slept person talking non-sense and they sometimes respond if you ask them questions.
However, there is no incident of sleepwalking which could be dangerous actually.

I have had full on conversations in my sleep with my partner! He says it is like talking to him while i am awake but usually what I am saying doesnt make alot of sence but it can go into a full conversation.... Like the talk we had about the penguins in the back yard !!!LOL
