I think really it works best to establish yourself some and make friends by responding to other people's discussions as well as starting your own. There are many people on mylot, and discussions fall off the first pages so quickly! When I first started here in January, it seemed impossible to get anyone to see what you started, but now that I know a lot of people via responding to their discussions, I know they'll respond to mine as well! =)

Oh, I just looked at your profile again and noticed that none of your discussions are under an interest category. Especially with ones on health topics like one I see that you have, you want to make sure you put it under an appropriate interest so that people with similar experiences can see it!
