I am for uniforms in school. I think it makes things easier for the parents and it is better for the children as well.
When you have uniforms, you don't have the issue of some children wearing name brand clothes and some people wearing clothes that would make them stand out as being poor.
I think it is easier for the students when they are getting ready for school in the morning. They don't have to worry about spending time choosing what to wear. The choice is already made.
They can be creative with how they dress when they are outside of school.

Kids want to be themselves and most of the time they want to wear what they feel is them. When I was younger they tried the school uniform thing at our school, it didn't pan out, sure kids wore them, but then they started accessorising or changing the look of the uniform, after a month the school decided not to bother with it. Of course I think now it would help, simply because nowadays kids wear things that they really shouldn't be wearing, uniforms would keep them in line, and maybe now if things were more strict, it would work out better. This way kids don't have to worry about what others think of them, and they won't be judged by what they wear.

I see no problem with it at all. My kids have to wear uniforms to school and it makes it easier on me. I dont have to worry about my kids getting picked on for those clothes. And its easy to just wash them and be done with it.
