The other day I overheard my little girl's father speaking to her. She had just done something she wasn't supposed to, I don't remember what now, and was walking away from him. In attempting to get her to stop what she was doing he came out with one of the most spectacular run-on sentences I have ever heard come out of his mouth. I only wish I could remember what it was!
That got me to thinking about how becoming parents means that we almost seem to invent a new method of communication, and I'm not talking parentese or "baby-talk" here. I mean the spectacular seven-clause run-on sentences, or how many times you can say your child's name in a row really fast.
So what's the craziest thing that's ever come out of your mouth when you were trying to talk to your kids? Like "Babyletgoofthatpoorcat'stailRIGHTNOW," or something like that?

That is so funny. I can't think of a good one right now, but this is a cute discussion. I will have fun checking back and reading what everyone responds. I'll add mine when something comes to me.
