What type of poetry do you like to read? If you write poetry, what type do you like to write? I like to read and write rhyme, although both types offer real challenges. The flowery language of prose is very challenging in that it's hard to make sense of it sometimes unless you are a real master of the english language. Rhyme, however, is also very challenging because sometimes it's necessary to rewrite the verses in order to make the rhyming words fit. And sometimes there is a limit to how many actual rhyming words there are.

I write poetry have for many years now I write about all the hard stuff i have been through i guess in a way its my way of being my own therapist most of my poems rhyme but they dont have to with my poetry its really all about being honest and open with the reader if they feel you through your words then Im doing something right
here is one of my poems if your interested
Resolution
when you try to give all you have
it is never enough
when you try to mend the broken things
glue back on the broken wings
when you tell the truth
all you hear are lies
when a promise is made
broken without thought
when somebody means more to you
then you ever will to them
when you love someone so much it hurts
when all they give back are empty words
when you try your best
it never works
when you have given your all
they still want more
know that true love lasts forever
to have patience for one another
Is a gift from above
to love to give to understand
to give a second chance
have faith in your thoughts
your friends and your love
hold them tight always keep insight
there is an end all you need do is fight
