Just wondering who goes to a MOPS group in your area. I'm recommending this organization all the time. It has really helped me get through the trying times of toddlerhood.
I love going. It also provides spiritual encouragement as well as new friends and something to look forward too once or twice a month where I can go and enjoy and know my kids are in good hands in the same building.
Just wondering if anyone else goes? If you want to find a group in your area you can visit www.mops.org
You can always visit a couple times to see if it's right for you.

I don't belong to MOPS because my own children are grown. I don't think the group was around when my kids were little. Or atleast I didn't know about it.
I had a daycare mom who was a member of MOPS. She really loved it. They met once a month and she said it was a great source of support. She was always asking me if she could borrow some of my craft ideas for the MOPS group. I think they did a craft with the kids at each meeting.
I think support groups are a wonderful way to meet other people who are going through the same type of things that you are.

Your last sentence is soooo true! We live in a rural area and I have two other friends who stay at home also. We drive an 45 min. to go to MOPS so we can get to know other moms who do the same.
I am so thankful for my friends otherwise I would really dislike living here. It took me over two years to meet these friends.
I love MOPS as well. Every MOPS group is different, but the moms usually do a craft too. I'm actually going to be in charge of that this next year, so I'm in need of ideas. It will be fun, I just haven't organized anything like that in a couple years for a group of people.
Thanks for responding.
