How Many Windows Do You Have Open At Once?

Well that depends upon internet speed, the maximum is 10 if the speed is high, but most of the time i can open from 3 to 5... Thanks for this nice post, cheers Happy easter Prof

I have tabbed browsing and right now there are five tabs open at the same time. It might go to ten. I do not like to as I want to see all open on the same page and with more then ten, I have to go forward or backward.

If i had more than 2 windows open my computer would have a hernia! LOL! I only open just one and i listen to my music on wmp. When i update to a faster computer, then i will have other windows going! Take care Sacmom.

I only open one window. Mozilla Firefox. Then I open a lot of tabs. *LOL* Whenever I use myLot I open around 3 tabs. One for my email, so that I'd know if someone replied to my post. Then another one for myLot where I reply to those replied posts. and Last for myLot to reply to other topics. Cool hey? But if I'm working, then I'd say I need to open a lot more.

I prefer music on while working on computer. It helps me to be more creative and active. So, I have atleast 3 application open on my desktop. Firefox, media player and word document. I open atleast 5 tabs on firefox in one window. It helps to utilize time while my other response is under process.

hi friend.. yeah!i open 3 windows...i get bored easily.. just like now..im doing facebook then mylot and lastly youtube.. i loved to listen songs...while doing other stuff like while mylotting.. it take away my boredom... im afraid to open lots of windows...like more than 5 or even 4.. my laptop easily get hang up!...i hate that when it happens.. im very impatient when it comes to opening a new site while cause i need to restart it!.. hehehe! how about you??what websites do you open?? thanks! keep posting! cheers!

I too have many open- that way I can search for the next discussion that I am going to respond to while the other page is loading- It saves time and it makes it so I can do more online with the time I have- I also love to multitask- Type A personality-

As many as I can I dont know what the effect is but I love opening lots of windows at a time, so while I am waiting for other windows to open I can do something with the other window. I open different websites at a time so I wont get bored and stuck with one window. I prefer this way.

I open five windows. I am trying to save time that is why i have to open five, which five different site i used to visit for everyday.

I only have one window open usually but I use firefox and usually have at least 5 tabs open at once! Mozilla firefox is far easier to use and organise and I don't know what I did without it! xxx

I usually open one window of orkut,one of gmail and one for yahoo.I open about five windows for mylot so that I can save my time while one discussion or response is getting loaded.

I have about 5 windows open when i surf the net. One for e-mail purposes, 1 for mylot, another for friendster, another for youtube and another for e-bay.

I only ever have one browser window open at once. But that's because my browser is Mozilla Firefox, and it is AWESOME! Instead of cluttering up the taskbar, I have multiple tabs with various pages. Firefox is also much more secure, safer, and blocks out 95% of self-installing adware. I haven't used Internet Explorer in over two years, and I never will use it again. 'Shady

opening windows is not an issue coz usually wn i am in chat room people cm with pmbomb buzz windows that makes me logg off ...so the issue is closing them.!!

It all depends. I do my other things before Mylotting. They remain open so that I can deal with things as they come in if need be. I answered discussions straight from email so that makes taking care of business easy for me. Don't understand all the effort of having different screens open for the same site. Anyway, whatever works is good I guess. Currently I have 4 open.

Well I used to keep multiple windows open (still do) but especially after web browsers created the tab feature, the number of windows open has minimized significantly. It would be really cool to have the tab feature for windows other than web browsers.

I always have at least 3 open, depending on what I am doing...I could have more but being on dial up it is slow already so it just slows it down even more.

Most of the time its usually just three, my gmail account, my mylot page and my bebo.com website page.

sometimes i should open as many as 10+. but my computer cant hold too many. one of my friend often open 40+ because his job requires that.

I always open a lot :p,and i will stuck with one when the other is opening.I like to have serveral things going at once.When i read news online i always open many pages and read the first opening one when the other is opening. when i am coding,i always open two or more windows for debuging my software because i am developing two main softwares and they communicate with each other.
