Talking is the first for my baby.. I am also worried coz at her age of One year and 3 months, she can't walk alone by herself.. but at least she can walk with support ..

This is exactly what my baby does, although she is only 12 months. She has about 4 words and hardly even walks with help. The doctor said not to worry until she is 18 months and still not walking. Hope that helps. Children usually focus on one thing at a time. For my daughter, and probably for yours it is more important to them right now to learn the art of communication.

Maybe it's just late for them, I'm already training my baby to walk, she is using her stroller everyday. she's only 7mos. before she keeps on saying papa and mama but now she just blows...

My daughter talked first - she said her first word at 8 months and had more than 20 words by one year. She concentrated on that more than anything else, I think - she didn't walk until 15 months.

I think that's really how things work, my baby started to talk when she was 5mos but now that she is using her walker, she seem to concentrate on her walk.

My daughter started saying a few words around 8 months. Like monkey, da da, and mama. She started walking around 10.5 months. She didn't really start saying a lot of words and forming sentences until around 17 months. So it's a mixture, but I would say walking was first due to the fact that she only said a couple of words before then.

Well I don't have any babies. But my sisters baby started to walk first. She used to say some words like mama, da da,etc. which are very common. But the first among the two was walking first.

My 5 month old baby first uttered the words okay, mama and hi between 2-5 months. He is still learning to take a few steps with the support of his daddy. We could see that he really smiles when we make him stand and help him take a few steps. But he still has to learn how to crawl.

Our babies talked almost at the same age, it's too early from other babies though. I use a walker for my baby, she's 7mos now. She enjoys it so much, when we carry her she would slip out and tries to walk as if she can by herself, hahaha!

My first child seemed to try everything all at once but he walked on his own at 9 months but couldn't talk very well until he was nearly 2 years old. My second child has been completely different. I don't remember him not talking. He said his first clear words before he could even crawl! I think he was about 9 months when he crawled but had been talking quite well by then. He speaks very clearly now, he's just turned 2 but he didn't walk by himself until about 2 months ago.

One of each - my first, a son, did all of his motor skills early, while his sister was very early verbal.
