What type of books are you interested in? Fiction, novel, spiritual, informative, epics and the list goes on. I read all type of books. I'm curious to learn anything and everything that gives me knowledge.
I read lot of spiritual books, works by good saints, mahatmas. By reading it we get lot of good thoughts revolving around us with good energy level.
In a volumes of great poet "kavinjar kannadasan's Arthamula hindu matham" you learn many things of hinduism which he relates good meaning of the practices followed, right from getting up in the morning till you end up your day the activities practised with the scientific turn of mind, for example, ladies get up early in the morning and their first job is take a broom and go out and clean the area wet the area by sprinkling water around and then putting "kolam
" means the art of drawing with the rice flour. Now-a-days available in colour too, this he says provides a good exercise to the ladies who were at home not going out and working. The best spine exercise, the immunity developed by inhaling the pure oxygen level in the early morning hours undisturbed by pollution.
Rangoli or "Kolam" gives a creativity to mind in drawing new new designs every day. And by the site you finish the work, your front view of the house is clean, neat and tidy which in turn gives a fresh thought to begin your rest of the day.
Likewise you get more and more knowledge of the habits practised by our forefathers generation after generation.
Epics though imaginary form, we get many good points for the young generation to be followed to groom into a better citizen. The great "Ramayana", "Mahabharatha" and "Bhagavat Gita" from which we get knowledge to shape up our personality to the higher degree.
So why not use this means to develop more knowledge, develop interest in reading, books are ofcourse good friends. what's your interest in books? share with me.
