Unbelievable isn't it?! Mach 9.6 to be exact, and thats around 7,000mph!! thats about 2 MILES per SECOND!
actually the X-43A has done its final flight. it was only doing unmanned flight tests for research into an alternative to rocket power for space access vehicles.
all this happened in 2004 i believe.
a fact about the X-43A "ScramJet" vehicle...its only 12 feet long!

That's amazing speed.That means New York to California in less than thirty minutes!!What is it used for? Chaseing U F O's ?
Around the globe in four hours tell me more, where did you get this info?I can't even imagine a pilot having much input to the flight.
