which is more effective in disciplining your child or children? Will they respect and love you if you do spank them when they won't listen to you?

I agree with you on this one aj2006. Communication is the best way to bring up your child. I don't believe in corporal punishment of any sorts. Children are more intelligent and capable on understanding than what adults want to think.

Spanking is good to be used sometimes to show that in certain cases children deserved to spanked if they have done something bad enough. It is to show that they should not do that behaviour again and to make them remember and learn to respect the parents. But use it sparingly and only for serious cases only. If not, children would think you don't love them and begin to retaliate. Hope you get the best from your chldren.
