Yesterdays surgery went well and I am still alive. My bf was there with me all the way and when they had him wait outside he was more worried than I was. When he came back in he was crying... He is sooo sweet.
anyway they knocked me out in the middle of a conversation I had with a nurse so I did not even see it coming. I did not feel a thing until I woke up.
Today I feel sore and I also have a stomach ache and bleeds but that is apperantly totally normal.
I am not gonna be here for long, just wanted to let my friends know that I survived surgery =)

Ooh you brave girl logging into here to let us know you're ok! Glad it went well, and I am glad you said you're still alive, would be quite worried if you weren't and you were starting discussions! LOL sorry about the light humour but wanted to lighten the conversation a bit, hope you don't take it the wrong way. You've got through surgery and apart from being a bit sore and achy you're fine, so fingers crossed you stay that way hun. Wishing you a full and speedy recovery hun. xx

I am so glad it went well Marie. if course you'll be nervous waiting for the results - I remember I was when it happened to me too - but the time will pass quickly, and with your boyfriend supporting you, I'm sure things will be fine. And yes - the stomach pains and bleeds are totally normal - I'm sure they have passed for you now - mine only lasted about 3 days! Good luck!

Thanks so much for the update. Sorry I was away when this was posted last week. I'm glad to hear you felt good enough to post here in myLot. Get well quick and keep posting, my friend.
My sis and cousin are in Sweden now (July 11-21) and I'm sure they're having a great time with relatives there. They are going to Dahalla (sp?), taking a tour of the fjords in Norway, going shopping everywhere, and taking pictures all the time. My daughter is so jealous that she couldn't go with them on this trip. She went over there with my sis in 2001 and loved every minute of it. Maybe I can even make it over there one day.
Take care.

I so happy to hear that Marie,
i know it was hard waiting for it, all of the tension and what will happen and all those fears.
So i happy you had it and that you are fine.
I wish you an "achlama mehira", that is how we say it in hebrew.
And i am sure in a few days you'll feel like a new person:)

Way to go, marie. Now that's the best news I have heard. You are blessed to have such wonderful and supportive boyfriend. I can understand how jubilant and ecstatic you must be feeling now. Having gone through a lot this past few months, I'd say you are a very strong and courageous lady. Keep going and you will be back in good shape in the next few days. :)
