Dowary is the name which is given to the spouse when a girl gets married and goes to there husband house. Because od dowary many girls lots there life and still dowary is there in all the county.

i supposed to dowry is only in india! some of biggies like unitedstates and united kingdom people haven't hear this word if you take any survey!even though indian country is developing country have no people are educated but still they are allowing dowry in marriage progress!it is a sin! and it is a ridiculous, those people having nothing in their mind!it is only get off from love marriage or mixing revolution!
