when sleeping at night, lights on or off?

i prefer lights off. thats it, i cannot fall asleep when the lights are switch on because the luminare of lights glares to my eyes and its very difficult to sleep.

Hi there. We usually sleep with one of the hall way lights on, so if our children wake up during the night, they can see where they're going and wont crash into anything... Otherwise if my husband and I are home by ourselves, theres no reason why we should leave the lights on...

I always sleep with the lights off. I cannot sleep when it is bright. I like it when it is dark because I feel like I'm alone. I also turn the lights off when I sleep to conserve electricity.
