you'll never know, until you're there. i'll tell you my own story,.. although me and my husband know each other since birth, we were never boyfriend/girlfriend. just plain schoolmates, and both of our father used in the same school. to cut the story short, after 30 years of our life we met again, and realize we're in love and want to grow old together. we were married a week after that chance meeting!! and we're happy since... just to be sure your in for the biggest decision of your life?... pray... and you'll know if your making the right decision..

aw. your story is so sweet. I met my partner at work and we started dating. We have been together almost 2 yrs now and have discussed marriage but we both agree that its a big step that we just dont feel ready for yet. We want to wait until we are both ready and we know the time is right.

I don't believe that there is a certain age to marry, or a best one to do so. In my opinion, the person must only marry when they feel they know a lot about life already. When you marry, you change your life... You have to give up of things you used to do, things you liked, and share all your personal stuff with your partner. It's not easy, but it can be good, depending on whoever is going to marry with you.
I, personally, want to get married around 20 ~ 30 years. Younger than that and I won't enjoy life fully... Older, and I don't think having kids will be a good idea.

I agree with you that there isnt a certain age to marry. I hope that when the time comes that I will know if I am ready or not. I recently watched an episode of MTV's engaged and underage. its a sweet show but I hope it works out for those kids. I would hate to see someone get married then divorced soon afterwards. I dont think marriage should be taken lightly or something that should be rushed into.

Yes, I got your point... I'd like to have only one marriage for all my life, not to marry, divorce, marry, divorce, marry, divorce... Only one, a good and lasting marriage!
