hey guys i was just watching Bicentennial Man yesterday night when this thought just struck me.. whether the robots with ai as shown in most of the movies are right handed, left handed or Ambidextrous i.e can use both hands perfectly for everything they do everyday..
As in humans we usually see majority of us are right handed and some are left handed while very few are ambidextrous... so do u think this sort of thing will exist with robots or they will be able to use both hands perfectly..

This is an very interesting question! Very few people thought of it.
In my opinion the Robots will be Right-handed, because from door knobs to big cranes everything in this world is made for people who are right-handed. So obviously the Robots that are made will be preferable right-handed to adjust to this world.
But as you said it will be better if they con use both hands effectively. Let's wait and watch.
