Can one person really feel unloved...that all relations he (or she) have really had, have really had nothing to do with the 'mith' called love? Can this be contributing to an inner feeling of depression?

When I was pregnant with my first daughter, I did not know who the father was. So the two guys and I decided to rent a house together until the baby was born and paternity established. Nine months is a long time and one of the guys just wanted out. He didn't want to be with me or us and had found a new girl. The other guy was frustrated because he wanted to get on with his life but felt he had to put it on hold, felt he couldn't have a relationship with a girl while he was sharing a home and possibly a baby with me. He made it quite clear, though, that he did not want to be with me. "Why would you want to be with someone who doesn't want to be with you?" he asked. He's right. But talk about feeling unloved. Two possible fathers of my baby and neither one of them wanted to be with me. I'm surprised I survived.
