If latest reports are to be believed, then Carlos Tevez is moving to Manchester United. How big a signing would that be for Man U. Given the fantastic form that Tevez was at the end of last season, my mouth is already watering. What do you feel about this signing? Cheers! Ram

Good move, good player but i dont really fancy Tevez (dont know why). If its confirmed, then Man Utd will have a great squad for the new season. Talk about Nani, Anderson, Hargreaves it will be interesting. Can't wait to get the new 07/08 home kit here in Singapore.

i think his coming will improve mu's attacking power, but i cant give him a position of main player if i were Mu's manager.firstly, he cant play as a striker cos he's too short to get the cross ball .. what's more,he also cant play as a main shadowStriker or wings because the being of CR and Rooney..

I think CR might move over to the wings and Tevez might play as the withdrawn striker or shadow striker as you put it. Cheers! Ram

I mean they won the league with a much weaker team last time around and with the squad they have now, they are definitely looking to add some more title along with the EPL this season!! Cheers! Ram

Man Utd have bagged themselves some great signings and this has no doubt already made them favourites for next season. Teves is still being linked to Arsenal though so you never know.

I doubt the Tevez-Arsenal deal with work out. But, given the mysterious ways in which Tevez deals work out, you never know :) Cheers! Ram

I think that Manchester United will have to change their style of play when Tevez comes. Both Rooney and Tevez play as fast strikers where they both run in from the left flank. This will conflict as both of them will come in the same direction and will be left open up front and on the right flank. What Manchester United need is a target striker who can recieve balls and crosses from the strong midfield of ronaldo, nani, etc. Unied might have to put rooney on the left attacking midfield and tevez up front with giggs or anderson.

The one thing that troubles me about this attack is the hieght issue. Both Tevez and Rooney are not tall enough to take advantage of the crosses. I think Torres was being chased for that same purpose, but now he is in Liverpool!! Cheers! Ram

No he's not this is the media makeing utd fans think he is on his way to old trafford, but when you see unvaled at Liverpool in the next few weeks you will soon realise this. No on a seriouse not though if UTD do get him it would be a grate additon to the squad, some may argue he is to like Rooney? and whats the point in havin grate wingers if theres no one to cross too? is Ronaldo going out the back door?

I actually think Tevez is more creative than Rooney, though Rooney is more tough and robust than Tevez. I think the duo could be a deadly weapon except for the one hitch that you mentioned, that neither is tall enough to accept the great crosses that Ronaldo can put in. I think that is where Torres not coming to Utd. may hurt!! Cheers! Ram

i think mu make the biggest mistake.you see,i think teves is not a good player.i had been disappointed because of him my fav. team Argentina lost in World cup 2006.he played the worst.he had no skill.only aggressive,i think.i really dont believe he can make MU to a victory

In fact, i couldn't disagree more. It was his performances in the World Cup that really catapulted him to the big league. Also his performances for West Ham in the last half was spectacular last season. Cheers! Ram
