role model

I have several role models that I look up to, and strive to become a bit like. One of them is Ursula Vernon (www.metalandmagic.com) a very good painter. I look up to her because she is doing so well selling her artwork, has an interesting life and is the kind of person I would like to be in a couple of years. The other one is the mexican surrealist painter Frida Kahlo. After seeing the movie about her life I became completly obsessed by her. She was a strong, independent woman that expressed her feelings so well. Whenever I feel sad I think of her, and my strenght returns. I consider myself lucky to have been able to see her art up close, and I would love to be able to visit Coyacán where she lived.
