McMillan ML_36 lathe not cutting parallel between centres

Can anyone advise on the repair or techniques to use to true up my lathe. I have turned a piece of stock about 250mm long and found that there is about 0.0014" difference in the start and finish diameters. (narrower at tailstock end. I would greatly appreciate any assistance offered. Thanks Milan....
