I had washed a load of clothes and put them in the dryer. I had some other things to do so I went and finished them and came back to see if my clothes were dry. My laundry room is in a separate room off from the kitchen and I always keep that door closed so I can't really hear the washer and dryer. Well, when I went back to see if the clothes were dry they were not because stupid me didn't cut the dryer on to begin with. I feel so stupid sometimes. LOL Please tell me other people do stuff like this too.

Uh-Oh. I've never done that one before but that's only because we don't drink much coffee. :-)

If I had a dollar for every time I have done that I could afford to have someone do the laundry for me! The other "stupid" laundry mistake I tend to make, especially when I'm in a hurry, is forgetting to put the clothes in the washer. I did this last night in fact but luckily caught it in time. I already had the clothes sorted so I turned the washer on, put in the detergent, closed the lid and was half way down the hallway before I realized the clothes were still in a pile on the floor beside the washer! You aren't the only one!

I done the exact same thing today. I left the house though so I could do grocery shopping for a special dinner for my husband tonight and when I returned found out that I had not started the dryer. I think it is "housewife syndrome" _ HAHA!!!

Hi there. Ive had a dryer incident before. I had put a fair bit of clothes into the dryer and went into the sunroom to carry on reading my book, before my cousin and her friend arrived. 45 minutes later, I hear all this laughing and carrying on, there she was calling out to me, So I went to see what the big fuss was, my dryer door had swung open, I had clothes everywhere, even still half in the dryer and half out, while the silly thing was going around and around and they were still damp... So what happen to you is not that silly or stupid LOL... I looked at this incident as a stepping stone towards a brand new dryer... LOL

Thanks! I don't really feel like I'm stupid but just having a forgetful moment. LOL Maybe I should just blame it on all the stuff I have to do during the day and that I've got the mommy brain. LOL :-)

Don't get down on yourself. I have done that many times. I notice I do things like that when I have other things on my mind at the time. I have even gone as far as forgetting to put the lid down on the washer after I have started it. So when I go check..I have to shut the lid and finish the cycle..
