Ok...I realize this is not the most pleasant of topics...but I am seriously looking for a way to get rid of back hair. I am starting to look like a gorilla. The trick is, my wife used to always do it for me by waxing, but now I no longer have a wife and cant really do it on my own. Is there any easy methods to do this???
cheers,

I was going to suggest waxing it too. You can always go to the hair salons that do waxing and they'll do it for you.

I meant to add that my mom does hair and she used to wax a few guys for those muscle man contests. So I know you could find someone to do it for you at a hair salon that does the waxing. Just call and ask if they'll do your back.

Hmm, you will ready need someone else to do it. As far as I know there is no other way for removing hair from one's back other than waxing or shaving. The epidlator is a very effective form of shaving, & possibly easier than waxing. I can't think of any way you can do it your self.
If you have no friend, who can help, you will need to go to a beauty salon, or a place that specialises in waxing.

We just picked up a bottle of Veet (similar to Nair) at Wal-Mart for my husband. Much less painful and pretty much equally effective. It still may be a bit difficult to do alone unless you get a back brush and it works to put the lotion on and "shave" it off. Veet dissolves the hair at the root so regrowth should not occur for 6 weeks or so. It alo comes with a nifty little bladeless "razor", but you could probably just wipe off the lotion after letting it sit for a few minutes, that is how air used to work anyway. The formula we bought is designed specifically for body hair and they also sell a Nair for men that is designed for body hair. The package of Veet does not say for men, but it worked well on my hubby. We also managed to get a special promotion package (last one on the shelf) that was buy one get one free, at Wal-Mart. it cost $4.86 (or something close). My husband used it last night on his chest/belly area and his face (NOTE: DO NOT USE ON YOUR FACE! he read it after he put it on and it started to burn. it worked, but it hurt). If this method is not working for you, look for a local beauty school and see if they offer waxing services at a redced rate. They are students doing it, but they are usually pretty close to graduation and seem to know what they are doing. Good luck to you!

SOLUTIONS;
1) YOU CAN GO TO A SALOON
OR
2) BRING A NEW WIFE
OR
3) USE AN ELECTRIC HAIR REMOVER. FIRST YOU NEED TO TRIM IT WITH LONG SCISSORS.
Don't compare yourself to a gorilla, human life is divine. looks are secondary. your loved ones will feel bad if you call yourself a gorilla.
