Help me to uninstall my anti-virus software.

I have to install ZoneAlarm Security Suite on my PC for which I have to uninstalled the 'McAfee VirusScan". I have read, uninstalling an anti-virus package is different to the normal procedure. Is it so? Then, help me for a detail procedure to uninstall.

Before uninstalling McAfee, make sure you've disabled it first. Then go to add/remove programs as usual. If you see McAfee Security Center there, you will have to remove individual components first, then you can remove the security center. Make sure Windows Firewall is enabled, then reboot your machine.
When Windows resumes, you may proceed to install ZASS. It will automatically shut down Windows Firewall for you. The reason you should have it enabled is to have some sort of interim defense until ZA is up and running. Good luck!
