Parents...what is your biggest pet peeve or problem with your child's teachers?

As a newer teacher entering her second year of teaching, do parents have anything they would like to voice their opinion on concerning any pet peeves or problems you have with teachers?
Is there anything that teachers do to dishearten your child? Is there anything teachers can do to get off on the right foot with the parents?

I'm so glad you asked...he he he
For one, please don't ever call a child lazy.
If they aren't doing what they should, there is probably a good reason. I'm not saying there is no such thing as lazy, but usually it's either an attention deficit problem or some other problem. Lack of motivation.
Sure it would be great if all students just did what they were supposed to. The fact is, some kids need more help than others.
You've taken on a very noble career. The fact that you are asking the question, tells me that you are in it for the right reasons and I think you will be a great teacher! Good luck and take care.
Some of my older posts state some of my issues with teachers, if you care to take a look, feel free.
I undertand if you can't it would probably take some time to find them.

I must be really lucky because I cant really say I have had any major problems with any of my kids teachers. There was one teacher my oldest son had in junior highschool that was a big problem but we moved before it had any lasting effect luckily.
