One of my favourite bookseries is "His Dark Materials" by Philip Pullman. I loved the mix between a fantasy version of our world and the real thing, the multiple dimensions and the many themes the books portrayed. My favourite book of the three is probably "The subtle knife".
Have you read the "His Dark Materials" trilogy by Philip Pullman?

What do you think about the movie made of "The Golden Compass"?

Ah, well, I would love to have someone provide input who has read the story. Do the children wind up killing God? Why?
