do women really talk more than men?

Agree. Women talk more. I think it's for a simple reason: women need and want to talk about their feelings, opinions etc. to feel good, while men don't need to do this that much.

We barely notice it but according to what's posted at our university's bulletin, women really talk a lot more than men. Apparently, studies show that on a regular basis, women speak 7000 words in a day while men speak about 2000. I dont really know the actual source of this info but I believe it's reputable..
